We’ll take you to the General Anaya, a C-58 minesweeper that unfortunately broke in half during Hurricane Wilma in 2005 and now lies 24 meters below the surface. It turned out to be a benefit for adventurous divers because they can now access parts of the wreck! During the winter months, the area becomes filled with eagle rays, just imagine looking up from the wreck and seeing dozens of them gliding above you. It’s also not uncommon to spot fish lurking around the wreck’s chambers; they’re home to all kinds of marine life.
